“I am in earnest – I will not equivocate – I will not excuse – I will not retreat a single inch – and I will be heard!” – William Lloyd Garrison
For years, we have been trying to play the music industry game with music artists, songwriters, and ministries. Through the years we have tried radio, publicity, physical distribution, music video shows, magazine ads, blog posts, booking ideas, all the various forms of social media, and more. I have always felt we were chasing our tail in a game the larger labels have down as a well-oiled machine.
I’ve always hoped we could find our niche to really help artists, songwriters, and ministries reach their audience, outside of what we have done well for years which is amazing music production and graphic identity. With the changes in the music industry over the last decade, even for the independent artist, we have looked for a way to help artists find the success they want: to be seen and heard, and have their music and ministry matter.
We think we have found the perfect ways to help any artist, songwriter, or ministry reach the audience they want, and affect hearts, minds, and even lives for the better.
A few weeks ago we released our new content network Cre8iv.tv, and we continue to be excited about it. Every week we will be releasing new and evergreen content that we feel will entertain, teach, and feed the creative soul of those who see them.
Our new strategy starts with our decades old but always effective goal of helping artists write or find great songs, record in Nashville with the top players and engineers in the business, and then market effectively. But what does that mean “market effectively”?
We think it means to get artists seen and heard, and we do that by taking your music directly to your fans that we build through your personal and professional social media channels, like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter.
We are working hard to create amazing video representations of their music to add to the high end audio and graphic identity. Now when we finish each single, EP, or CD we immediately can build or add to a following, and get thousands of eyes and ears on the music and ministry of our artists.
An entirely new wrinkle we are offering for 2018 is booking. This is something we have never been able to offer before, but now have a company we are working with that can help artists get seen and heard live in front of audiences. It’s experimental at this point, but it’s not costly, and you get to choose the areas where you want to share your music and ministry. This is something we have never offered before, but are excited to bring it into our complete marketing package for artists we discover, produce, and market.
But Quality is Still Job 1.
“Quality is never an accident. It is always the result of intelligent effort.” – John Ruskin
All of what we are talking about above is a very delicate balance. It won’t work if one of those things is done without the absolute top industry quality. We all know when we see a cheap movie on Netflix, or hear a song we turn off quickly because it just doesn’t sound good. We believe one of our hallmarks is to create products both aurally and visually that keep people interested and tuned in.
All of our talent, songwriting, ministry, and hard work is worth nothing if we make something no one ever gets to experience. That’s why we are now working hard to make sure we create things for artists that aren’t just beautiful and artistic, but providing them a means to get that in front of eyes and ears.
Our goals are huge! We want to get every artist and songwriter seen and heard. Yes, we do what record labels do in function, except we want to do it for everyone. Every artist. Every songwriter. Every ministry.
Isn’t it time to get your music and ministry out there? Isn’t that why God gave it to you?
If you have questions, we’d love to talk and find out how we can help you. We are growing, and adding more amazing industry people to our team every month.
Join us. Get Seen. Get Heard.
