Saving the Music CD

Why is the CD music format dying when it is certainly a better sounding product than MP3, and it’s something you can hold in your hand? And why is the CD section at Walmart and Best Buy tiny, but the section for DVDs and BluRays is HUGE? Then it hit me like a ton of bricks.
