Sing a New Song!

“Praise the Lord. Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of his faithful people.” – Psalm 149:1

I’ve learned something in my work with artists in the church, at school, and even just with other musicians in general: they are scared of “new”.

It’s like if they do something other than what has been done before, people will be confused, or maybe frightened by this new thing.

You know who’s not scared of new things? God. And it’s kind of obvious… (Gird up your loins, a litany of quotes in this post!)
